The competition aims to devlop enterprising and innovative engineers and encourage more young people to take up a career in engineering. Formula Student is an international engineering design competetion first held by the Society of Automotive Engineers in 1979. The goal is to develop and provide a platform for student engineers to experience, build, and learn. Formula Student is a global engineering competition. The challenge is to develop and build a small open wheel race car in a single school year. There are over 600 universities represented in the three vehicle classes: combustion, electric, and driverless. FSG 2021 will be held from 16th until 22nd of August 2021 in Hockenheim.
